Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks on contracted projects, including cable pulls, cable terminations, installing system equipment/components, and rack systems and metal fabrication per project directives.
  • •Coordinate with the Lead Technician to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
  • •Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
  • •Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors and support AV systems installation tasks.
  • •Assist with management and security of jobsite equipment and tools; help with basic mechanical fabrication and rack wiring; travel to required job sites.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Basic understanding of audio-visual systems (projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, video conferencing, digital signage, and control systems).
  • •Proficiency in installing/terminating/troubleshooting low-voltage cabling (HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) and experience with conduit runs and cable trays.
  • •Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently, and to diagnose/resolve AV technical issues.
  • •Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record meeting AVI-SPL driving standards.
