Job Summary

Develop and maintain demand forecasts for repairable and consumable inventory to support fleet Continuing Airworthiness and contract delivery. Analyse data to produce accurate inventory requirements, update forecasting systems, and manage inventory planning through stock positioning and item condition monitoring. Collaborate with Fleet Planning and Maintenance Tasking, ensure documentation and airworthiness recordkeeping, comply with MAI CAME/AM&S standards, and help minimise expenditure via alternative sourcing and repair/overhaul/spare decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop accurate inventory forecasts under supervision to support strategic decisions and fleet inventory requirements.
•Update and maintain inventory forecasting system(s), including forecasting parameters and parts classification (ABC Analysis).
•Plan and manage inventory through stock positioning and monitoring item condition to ensure product availability.
•Minimise expenditure by identifying alternative sources of supply (including RTP, cannibalisation, and substitute parts) and determining repair/overhaul/spare solutions.
•Ensure documentation, airworthiness records, compliance with MAI CAME/AM&S standards, safety/error management, and respond to audit findings as required.

Key Requirements

•Understand the continuing airworthiness regulatory framework and apply it to IF&P processes.
•Provide demand forecasting, planning and optimisation of inventory requirements and usage to support customer and contract requirements.
•Maintain strong relationships with customers, Part 145 organisations, OEMs, suppliers and other stakeholders.
•Have good quantitative and analytical skills with Lean principles and strong attention to detail for data analysis.
•Good IT literacy and knowledge of asset tracking/ERP systems; project management knowledge; NVQ3/Level 3 in a relevant discipline desirable.
