Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage employee relations, including applying collective agreements, resolving grievances, handling conflicts, and administering disciplinary measures.
  • •Administer and interpret corporate policies and procedures considering regional and global expectations.
  • •Monitor and analyze trends and report absenteeism indicators to leadership.
  • •Respond to HR-related questions from supervisors, management staff, and union personnel, and support coordination with the medical center.
  • •Advise leadership and the management team within the role’s scope, manage disability files, participate in weekly calls with the CNESST case-management partner, and act as a change agent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in industrial relations, HR, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • •Member of the Ordre CRHA or CRIA (asset).
  • •Minimum 5 years of experience in a unionized environment.
  • •Knowledge of CNESST disability case management (asset).
  • •English speaking and writing knowledge (asset), with judgment, analytical thinking, autonomy, and proactivity.
