Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct others in producing detailed and performance specifications for the electrical discipline, reviewed prior to issue.
  • •Review design programmes and ensure sufficient resource is available to complete works in line with technical and commercial performance and delivery.
  • •Supervise the completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function.
  • •Lead feasibility studies for projects considering technical feasibility for the discipline.
  • •Train and mentor staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record delivering UK Building Services electrical projects in line with client expectations.
  • •Take responsibility for producing detailed and performance specifications for the discipline, subject to colleague review.
  • •A detailed understanding of the regulations applicable to the electrical discipline and how to demonstrate this through calculation.
  • •Working understanding of electrical design software packages such as AMTECH or Electrical OM software.
  • •Experience working with Revit MEP or other 3D design software, plus must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC).
