Job Summary

Perform skilled mechanical maintenance on refrigeration systems and related equipment, including inspection, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and HVAC components such as compressors, chillers, valves, thermostats, and controls, and complete skilled electrical maintenance as needed. Operate hand/power tools, welders, vacuum pumps, and test equipment while maintaining parts, tools, and accurate maintenance records. Respond to emergency work requests and communicate with operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Inspect, repair, modify, and install HVAC equipment, including refrigeration and air conditioning systems and related components.
•Perform preventive maintenance inspections and servicing of refrigeration and HVAC equipment, including making adjustments or repairs.
•Repair or replace defective parts and controls in refrigeration units and related equipment.
•Operate hand and power tools and trade test equipment; maintain equipment, parts, and tool inventory in safe working condition.
•Perform skilled electrical maintenance work and install/calibrate systems, including copper tubing, pipe/tubing repairs, and testing/insulating joints.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 27.05 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance; or 4 years of direct experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance.

•Basic computer skills.
•Ability to work independently.
