Key Responsibilities

  • •Under supervision, assist with rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment, including cement storage vessels, spacer fluids, and data monitoring equipment.
  • •Learn basic oil well operations such as pipe capacities, plug landing pressures, absolute volumes, and hydrostatic/differential pressure concepts.
  • •Assist in operating cement pumping/mixed equipment, blenders, additive metering systems, centrifugal pumps, data acquisition systems, ADC systems, and cementing plug releasing tools.
  • •Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated paperwork/reports.
  • •Verify lineups of valves on bulk systems and surface manifold equipment, and ensure compliance with HSE regulations and quality improvement processes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Must have 3-6 months of experience as Operator Assistant I – Cementing, or 1 year of related work experience in oilfield services.
  • •Class A CDL with hazmat endorsement required, including manual transmission experience.
  • •Able to lift 60 lbs and be able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
  • •Able to accommodate a flexible work schedule, long workdays, irregular hours, and be on-call with short notice; able to perform basic math and follow instructions.
