Key Responsibilities

  • •Practice Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality culture by participating in safety meetings and following policies and procedures.
  • •Perform pre-analytical sample preparation, processing, and organizing.
  • •Conduct routine and non-routine analysis to determine mineral properties.
  • •Maintain accuracy and calibration of laboratory testing equipment, including inspections and preventive maintenance, with good record keeping.
  • •Input data using relevant computer software, identify abnormal observations, and ensure work order documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 73,216 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary education with a Technical Diploma or Science Degree.
  • •Previous laboratory experience (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of quality control and quality systems.
  • •Intermediate computer skills with MS Office and LIMS.
  • •Ability to lift 25+ pounds and meet the physical demands of the role; valid Class 5 driver’s license with access to personal transportation.
