Job Summary

Perform daily bacon slice production tasks and sanitation duties at the Vernon plant. Feed pork bellies into slicers, stack and package sliced bacon (bulk or vacuum), and support the Sanitation department by cleaning equipment, floors, freezer areas, offices, and restrooms. Rotate responsibilities by department schedule while meeting USDA, Tyson, and customer requirements. Lift and handle product and equipment as needed up to 70 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily bacon slice duties, including feeding pork bellies into the slicer and stacking boxes on pallets.
•Package sliced bacon into boxes or packages in bulk or vacuum packaging.
•Assist sanitation by keeping plant grounds offices cleaned and sanitized.
•Clean and maintain production areas by sweeping floors, keeping lines clean, organizing and sanitizing freezer rooms, and emptying trash/cardboard combos.
•Rotate jobs per the department schedule and support other departments as needed; meet all USDA, Tyson, and customer requirements.
