Job Summary

Lead and supervise internal audit engagements across key business functions, including strategy, business development, and M&A, plus audits of Project Delivery and Asset/Platform Management. Manage audit teams, ensure quality and timely delivery, and support annual risk assessment, KPI reporting, and development programs. Based in Abu Dhabi with a focus on compliance, efficiency, and value creation for Masdar.

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage technical audits—covering Strategy, Business Development, and Mergers & Acquisitions, from planning to reporting; support audits of Project Delivery and Asset/Platform Management, including Engineering and QHSE.
•Manage the audit team to ensure quality work and timely completion.
•Submit audit deliverables for quality review to Quality Reviewer and liaise to ensure all deliverables are reviewed before submission.
•Provide on-the-job training and feedback to audit team for development.
•Develop and deliver annual operational plans and KPIs for the unit and contribute to performance monitoring and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Engineering
•CFA/CPA/ACA
•CIA/CFE is an asset
•At least 8 years’ experience in auditing/advisory of Business Development & M&A transactions/financial modelling
•Experience relating to internal audit of corporate and business units’ processes
