Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain personal and co-worker safety and carry out work in compliance with federal and state environmental regulations.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and provide proactive maintenance for site process equipment.
  • •Provide technical expertise for installation, acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance of unit equipment including power distribution and control systems.
  • •Execute scheduled work: review job scopes, obtain parts/tools/instructions, follow isolation and safety procedures, complete work to standards, and coordinate with equipment owners.
  • •Use a computerized maintenance management system to complete documentation and update supervisors on progress/problems; respond urgently to minimize process impact and identify reliability-driven improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED.
  • •4+ years of maintenance experience in instrumentation in an industrial environment, or NCCER Instrument Technician certification, or Journeyman Instrument Technician apprenticeship, or an Associate’s degree in Instrumentation.
  • •Advanced understanding of electrical and instrumentation equipment (pressure/temperature/level/flow devices, transformers, motor starters, circuit breakers, control circuits).
  • •Knowledge of specification sheets, loop diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without visa sponsorship and be able to meet physical/work-environment requirements (overtime/callouts, heavy equipment interaction, outdoor year-round work, confined spaces/heights, lift up to 50 lbs).
