Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical inspections on heavy equipment, tactical vehicles, and MHE during the turn-in process.
  • •Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system faults and carry out repairs and adjustments.
  • •Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with Army technical manuals and safety requirements.
  • •Service and maintain MHE (e.g., forklifts, cranes, loaders, rough terrain equipment) and perform vehicle services such as PMCS, lubrication, and part replacement.
  • •Record inspections, maintenance, and repairs using Army-approved forms/systems and maintain work orders, parts requisitions, and job completion records in line with ISO 9001:2015 QMS.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent (technical training in heavy equipment or military maintenance desired), or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • •3–5 years of experience as a mechanic on military or heavy equipment.
  • •Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience with tactical vehicles, combat systems, or MHE strongly preferred.
  • •Ability to read and interpret Army TMs, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
