Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the lead consultant across project delivery, including drawing production, meeting support, and specification writing.
  • •Provide telecom and electronic safety & security system designs, including structured cabling, telecom spaces, pathway infrastructure, and related system components.
  • •Coordinate with clients to gather and document system and design requirements, then create design narratives and coordinated construction documents.
  • •Assist with budgeting fee responsibility on assigned projects and help manage project resources to complete deliverables.
  • •Coordinate system integration with other intelligent building systems, participate in meetings, and review/respond to submittals and RFIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Possess a four-year degree (B.S. in engineering preferred) or equivalent technical certification and related work experience designing building technology systems.
  • •1-3 years’ experience designing security and telecommunications systems in the AEC consulting and engineering industry.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills to organize and present design information to clients.
  • •Revit experience.
  • •Highly proficient in Microsoft Office software.
