Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications for airfield projects in the UK and overseas.
  • •Help manage and coordinate design teams and communicate effectively with all parties.
  • •Identify and manage design risks, issues and RFIs.
  • •Ensure deliverables and milestones meet cost/quality/time targets.
  • •Act as a role model for junior staff, providing technical guidance and mentorship while promoting safety and CDM compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree relevant to civil engineering, construction, design or related discipline
  • •Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT or equivalent) preferable but not essential
  • •Experience delivering large, technically complex multi-disciplinary airfield civil engineering projects
  • •Experience and knowledge of international airfield design standards (ICAO, CAA, EASA, FAA)
  • •Knowledge and use of Civil 3D and airfield design software such as AviPlan, SkySafe and FAARFIELD preferable
