Key Responsibilities

•Support the preparation of technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications for airfield projects in the UK and overseas.
•Help manage and coordinate design teams and communicate effectively with all parties.
•Identify and manage design risks, issues and RFIs.
•Ensure deliverables and milestones meet cost/quality/time targets.
•Act as a role model for junior staff, providing technical guidance and mentorship while promoting safety and CDM compliance.

Key Requirements

•University degree relevant to civil engineering, construction, design or related discipline
•Chartered or Incorporated Status (MICE, MCIHT or equivalent) preferable but not essential
•Experience delivering large, technically complex multi-disciplinary airfield civil engineering projects
•Experience and knowledge of international airfield design standards (ICAO, CAA, EASA, FAA)
•Knowledge and use of Civil 3D and airfield design software such as AviPlan, SkySafe and FAARFIELD preferable
