Job Summary

Provide non-medical, short-term Child and Youth Behavioral (CYB) counseling for children and youth of military service members and their families at schools and installation locations. Deliver assessments, brief counseling, consultation, action planning, referrals, and follow-up; support DoDEA and community school staff; and conduct health and wellness presentations. Maintain confidentiality while entering daily activity data, coordinate with installation and program POCs, and participate in supervision, trainings, and quality initiatives.

•Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web application to ensure accurate reporting while maintaining confidentiality and anonymity.
•Maintain relationships with community resources, follow line-of-sight protocol, manage duty to warn/restricted reporting per DoD protocol, and participate in supervision and training activities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280

Key Requirements

•Master’s Degree in a mental health related field (Master’s in Behavioral Health or Social Work).
•Valid unrestricted independent counseling license to provide counseling as an independent practitioner.
•Less than 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience.
•Demonstrate intermediate-level technology competencies (e.g., Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, smartphone/tablet and video-conferencing navigation).
•Ability to prove US Citizenship and must be fluent in English; pass required background and clearance checks (NACI, IRC, criminal background, FBI fingerprints).
