Key Responsibilities

  • •Proactively identify, evaluate, and manage sanctions and AML risks to enable sustainable business growth.
  • •Advise on higher-risk transactions from a sanctions/AML perspective, including guiding preparation and submission of higher-risk licenses and maintaining an effective compliance program.
  • •Enhance trade controls, including policies, procedures, and screening protocols, aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • •Stay updated on trade laws, regulations, designations, and related regulatory announcements; assess and communicate program response and business impacts.
  • •Assist with testing and audits, periodic risk assessments, and development/training on sanctions and AML compliance; support investigations.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD).
  • •Minimum 6 years’ experience in a law department, preferably in a multi-national company, law firm or government agency.
  • •Significant experience in trade regulations, including U.S. sanctions laws and AML regulations.
  • •Knowledge of compliance IT and digital systems (including ERP software systems such as SAP, GTS, and Salesforce).
  • •Excellent communication skills and adherence to integrity, compliance, and ethics principles.
