Job Summary

Build and test front-end components for highly realistic, multi-platform training device software used in military and commercial aviation. You’ll work on cross-functional agile teams as a technical focal for design, implementation, and debugging of user interfaces in a classified lab environment. The role also includes feature decomposition, software and systems engineering support, and limited independent ownership, with travel to customer sites for training events and installations.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, integrate, and test software on cross-functional agile teams to meet budget, scope, and schedule constraints.
•Serve as a technical focal for complex multi-platform training device software and associated user interfaces.
•Assist in analysis and decomposition of features and influence decisions affecting cost, schedule, and technical performance.
•Perform multi-threaded software debugging and work independently with limited supervision.
•Contribute to software and systems engineering requirements capture and analysis, including bidding/proposal support and travel to customer sites.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a STEM degree and 5+ years relevant experience (or an advanced degree and 3+ years).
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

•Experience with agile development practices and general software engineering design principles.
•Active, existing security clearance required on day 1.
