Key Responsibilities

  • •Answer phone calls, emails, and take messages for department personnel
  • •Support the Plant Safety Committee and Occupational Health department, including submitting regular safety and health status reports to senior management
  • •Enter and track Supervisor Expectation Programs, including line meetings, daily PPE verifications, safety observations, training status, hearing tracking, and investigation reports
  • •Maintain and track the accident record system, investigate accidents/near misses, and ensure corrective measures are implemented to prevent reoccurrence
  • •Conduct safety inspections and training, including daily plant inspections, weekly plant safety inspections, and monthly supervisor and departmental safety training

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum High School or GED; college degree preferred but not required
  • •Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including phone etiquette
  • •Demonstrated effective people skills and ability to work as a team player
  • •Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Qlikview, and Alchemy
  • •Trustworthy handling of confidential material and good attendance record
