Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities for multiple classified and unclassified systems in accordance with ICD 503, RMF, and applicable IC/DoD directives.
  • •Develop, maintain, and submit System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and ATO/ATC packages across network enclaves.
  • •Design and implement continuous monitoring, maintaining situational awareness of configuration, vulnerability posture, and compliance; verify remediation to closure.
  • •Serve as ISSO for multiple systems during facility standup, executing security assessments, configuration compliance reviews, vulnerability scans, and incident detection/response coordination.
  • •Review and approve architecture and network modification requests from a security compliance perspective; develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures for multi-domain operations.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, fully adjudicated at time of hire (no interim clearances).
  • •10+ years of progressive information security experience, including at least 5 years in an ISSM or senior ISSO role within an IC or IC-adjacent contractor environment.
  • •Hands-on experience with ICD 503 and IC-specific Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes (DoD RMF experience requires supplemental evaluation).
  • •Multi-domain classified network experience across JWICS, SIPRNet, and NIPRNet, including accreditation/operational differences between enclaves.
  • •DoD 8140/8570 IAM Level III certification required at hire (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent accepted), plus working familiarity with TEMPEST/EMSEC and RED/BLACK separation requirements.
