Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership and mentorship to a section of 15 to 20 engineers on a defense software program.
•Ensure sustainment, assessment, and development of the section and adherence to policy, vision, values, and goals.
•Communicate flow-down to section members and manage performance development including yearly goal setting and salary planning.
•Lead career and job assignment mentoring and contribute to section salary and labor planning.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience
•Experience in software development, integration or test using C, C++, Java, or Ada
•Leadership experience managing teams or sections within a defense software development program
•Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably using the Agile Scrum or Kanban framework
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility
