Job Summary

Support quality and continuity of packaging production by performing post-production quality checks, sealing and palletizing boxes, and ensuring labels are accurate. Monitor machine operation safely, manage material bins/cartons to meet shift demands, and top up pallets and designated areas. Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area and handle end-of-shift scrap tray transfer. Full training is provided, reporting to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out post-production quality checks, including sealing boxes and placing them on the appropriate pallet.
•Ensure machines are running correctly and safely; shut down and make safe if necessary.
•Complete pallet and box labeling correctly and place items numerically; move full pallets to warehousing.
•Maintain material bins (including using a probe when needed) and position them correctly behind machines.
•Keep the work area safe, clean, and tidy; remove/empty waste bins and route scrap trays to material units at end of shift.
