Build, deploy, and operate CloudVision production systems at scale as part of the global service fleet. Work with Kubernetes across regions, using Spinnaker for CI/CD and GKE for runtime. Key Responsibilities

•Build, deploy safely and incrementally, and operate critical production systems with focus on scalability, reliability, observability, performance, and security.
•Monitor, support, and enhance product deployment experience across services, including proactive alerting, automated alert handling, and incident response runbooks.
•Build automation to remove toil and efficiently operate production systems; deploy new systems in a staged manner.
•Write postmortem documents and implement solutions to prevent incidents from repeating; plan and communicate maintenance windows.
•Triage platform/infrastructural issues, engage third-party vendor support as needed, and collaborate with product teams to resolve bottlenecks and limitations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelors in Computer Science or Engineering + 5 years’ experience (or MS + 5 years, or equivalent experience).
•Knowledge of Go, Python, or bash shell scripting to implement medium-complexity automation workflows.
•Knowledge of Linux (or UNIX) from an administration and debugging perspective.
•Hands-on experience operating software systems (infrastructure/complex applications) at scale, including server provisioning with a storage and networking perspective.
•Experience with infrastructure-as-code and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), plus monitoring and CI/CD.
