Key Responsibilities

  • •Process hazmat shipments, including classification, CFR/IATA packaging, manifesting, and shipping declarations.
  • •Package and manifest parcel, LTL, and large freight to ensure product integrity to the intended destination.
  • •Create shipping documents (packing slips, labels, BOLs, and hazmat declarations when required) and maintain records per departmental guidelines.
  • •Track critical shipments and update delivery status/tracking systems for requestors and distribution centers.
  • •Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load carriers, coordinate pickups, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining housekeeping and safe material handling practices.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •3+ years in a shipping role.
  • •Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted and perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, climbing, bending, and carrying.
  • •Ability to work required shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed to meet critical deadlines.
  • •Ability to pass Air Force background checks for Cape Canaveral.
