Job Summary

Develop customer relationships and drive sales growth by promoting deposits, loans, and fee-based services for individuals and small businesses. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, set appointments with approved marketing tools, and cross-sell within an assigned customer base. Partner closely with mortgage, small business, commercial, and investment teams to refer customers and provide holistic financial solutions while meeting production and customer experience goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete onboarding and education program rotations (Operations and Sales & Service) leading to a certification for the Retail Personal Banker job family.
•Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Use CAMP and other approved marketing tools to proactively reach out and schedule periodic financial review appointments.
•Cross-sell to the existing customer base, conduct outside sales activities, and work with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to refer customers appropriately.
•Meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals and enhance year-over-year revenue growth as measured by the Financial Center P&L.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities for acquiring new customers and cross-selling to existing customers.
•Ability to understand advanced math functions for analyzing credit and financial information.
•Registration required: S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
