Job Summary

Lead Lime’s government relations efforts across Latin America, with an immediate focus on Mexico City and Mexico. Partner with operations leaders to strengthen relationships with government officials and community stakeholders, advance policies supporting shared micromobility, and inform strategy using regulatory and political insights. Coordinate public-facing forums and media engagement in English and Spanish, manage external partners, and help build future regional team capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with city, state, and national government leaders, nonprofits, community organizations, business partners, and media across Latin America.
•Participate in media interviews, speak at government and community forums, and organize and lead public-facing events in English and Spanish.
•Evaluate, prioritize, and implement strategic approaches to maintain and grow operations and fleet across key Latin American markets, with an immediate focus on Mexico and Chile.
•Collaborate with regional operations, campaigns, and policy teams to develop and execute a long-term government relations strategy aligned with company priorities.
•Analyze regulatory, legislative, and political developments and manage consultants and external partners, establishing success metrics and accountability.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Fluency in Spanish and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills and comfort engaging with media.
•At least eight years of related experience in government affairs, public policy, campaigns, and/or community development in a government-related environment.
•At least three years of direct experience working with municipal and/or state government, campaigns, or public policy in Mexico City.
•Strong experience navigating municipal politics and city-level stakeholder environments.
•Ability to operate independently with strong ownership, manage multiple priorities, and travel as needed.
