Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead government cyber integration for OpenAI for Government by creating one shared operating picture across trusted-defender access, cyber evaluations, priority customers, readiness, deployment constraints, policy decisions, and communications.
  • •Provide strategic advice and support for government cyber testing and evaluation, including sensitive engagements with NSA, CISA, CYBERCOM/CNMF, CAISI/AISI, allied agencies, and external evaluators.
  • •Advise on cyber strategy, priority agencies and missions, trusted access expansion, and classified/accredited deployment considerations, including sequencing cyber opportunities.
  • •Translate government cyber requirements into clear product, research, security, and deployment asks in partnership with Product/Codex Cyber, Research/Safety, Security, Public Sector Security, and deployment teams.
  • •Chair cross-functional governance to align owners, resolve ambiguity, identify gaps, maintain a living inventory of programs and decisions, and escalate tradeoffs in writing.

  • •Have held senior cybersecurity, cyber operations, intelligence, or national-security leadership roles and are trusted by government, industry, and technical cyber communities.
  • •Bring deep credibility with NSA, CISA, CYBERCOM/CNMF, CAISI/AISI, allied cyber agencies, and public/private cyber-defense partners.
  • •Understand how government cyber missions, authorities, procurement paths, accreditation requirements, and operational constraints differ from ordinary commercial cybersecurity.
