Job Summary

Design and build enterprise-grade cloud-native distributed systems, focusing on backend services, developer tooling (CLI), and web applications. Own API-first and event-driven architectures, make system design decisions for scale and performance, and manage end-to-end lifecycle of platform services from development through production operations. Build CI/CD and DevOps tooling, improve observability and reliability (including Datadog), and integrate AI/ML and agent-based capabilities across the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and build scalable backend systems and services across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS/Azure).
•Develop custom applications including CLI tools and web applications using TypeScript/React.
•Define API-first and event-driven architectures, including service contracts, data models, and integration patterns.
•Own the end-to-end lifecycle of platform services, including design, development, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and production operations.
•Implement observability and reliability patterns (logging/monitoring with Datadog, alerting, incident response) and drive technical debt reduction through refactoring and platform hardening.

Key Requirements

•Basic Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•7+ years of software engineering experience building scalable, distributed systems.
•Strong backend development and system design, including APIs, data modeling, and service architecture.
•Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as TypeScript/Node.js (or similar) and building modern web applications (e.g., React).
•Experience designing and building APIs (REST, GraphQL) and event-driven systems, with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and cloud-native architecture patterns.
