Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide in-person O&M assessments and direct services per IEP requirements.
  • •Communicate with parents, teachers, and students to develop consistent service schedules.
  • •Develop IEP goals relevant to the educational setting
  • •Teach travel skills including sensory efficiency, cane techniques, orientation strategies, and environmental awareness.
  • •Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and assistive technology recommendations to school staff.

  • •Minimum 2 years of experience as an Orientation & Mobility Specialist.
