Job Summary

Provide leadership and technical support on water and wastewater projects by performing network modelling and supporting engineers across feasibility studies and optioneering. Lead model calibration, verification, needs assessment, and reporting, including preparation of reports and supporting drawings. Define work needed for field investigation teams, maintain client relationships, and contribute to project meetings via video conferencing where appropriate. Guide graduates, engineers, and technicians, and pursue continuing professional development.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership and technical support on water and/or wastewater projects as part of a project team.
•Perform network modelling activities and support engineers and senior engineers on project delivery.
•Support feasibility studies and optioneering, including model calibration, verification, needs assessment, and optioneering.
•Prepare reports and supporting drawings, and define work needed by field investigation teams.
•Provide guidance to and manage the work of graduates, engineers, and technicians; attend project meetings internally and with clients via video conferencing as appropriate.

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
•Strong understanding of water and wastewater projects, preferably with exposure to UK Water Industry standards and specifications.
•Minimum 12 years of industry experience is desired (not essential).
•Experience with UK water distribution project areas including urban drainage/wastewater modelling, model verification, and needs assessment/optioneering.
•Proficiency with modelling software including Infoworks ICM and GIS, plus competent MS Office skills and essential written/verbal English communication.
