Job Summary

Work with experienced electrical engineers on infrastructure, transportation, buildings, industrial, and energy projects. Support design and delivery through engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and documentation. Contribute to electrical system design such as power distribution, lighting, and controls, and participate in site visits and field investigations to gather data and support execution. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while building technical, project management, and consulting skills.

Key Responsibilities

•Support electrical engineering teams in the design and delivery of infrastructure, transportation, buildings, industrial, and energy projects.
•Assist with preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, and project documentation.
•Contribute to electrical system design activities, including power distribution, lighting, controls, and related building or infrastructure systems.
•Participate in site visits, inspections, and field investigations to gather data and support project execution.
•Help maintain project schedules, document control processes, and quality assurance requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 24 - 32.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering degree program and returning to studies following the work term.
•Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit analysis, power systems, or building electrical systems.
•Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, or similar tools.
•Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
