Job Summary

Join TI’s RF Connectivity RF Transceiver Validation team in Bangalore to validate next-generation RF transceiver products with integrated MCU for Wi-Fi and Ultra-Wideband (UWB). You’ll debug transceiver SoC issues to root cause, perform RF/IF/DC measurements (noise figure, gain, linearity, LO leakage, offsets), develop PCB schematic/layout, and automate measurement flows across PVT corners while interpreting results to distinguish IC vs. setup problems.

Key Responsibilities

•Debug the transceiver SoC by identifying issues and driving root-cause solutions (power/biasing, register sequence/values, board-level issues).
•Conduct RF, IF, and DC measurements including noise figure, gain, linearity (P1dB, IIP2, IIP3), IQ gain/phase error, LO leakage, and DC operating point via test mode.
•Develop RF PCB design by creating schematic/layout, selecting materials/stackup, reviewing changes, and collaborating with 3rd-party PCB service companies.
•Automate measurement flows by coding and interfacing instruments; process data across PVT corners and visualize results to separate IC and setup issues.
•Design and program interfaces such as SPI, UART, and UCI.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (e.g., in electrical engineering).
•2+ years of experience with RF validation and debug of RF IPs.
•Understanding of RF systems and key instruments.
•Proficiency in 2+ areas including transceiver SoC debug, RF measurements, RF PCB board development, test automation/measurement interpretation, and interfaces.
•Strong team player engaged with the product development team, especially the radio design team.
