Seasoned Database Administrator to own 360° support of our database layer across multiple mission-critical services. You’ll ensure high availability, performance, and security; perform backups, patching, and upgrades; troubleshoot complex incidents; collaborate with development and operations to optimize queries and design; contribute to international migrations and standardization while guiding technology choices.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all supported database systems.
•Perform daily operational tasks including backups, recovery, patching, upgrades, and monitoring across different database platforms.
•Troubleshoot and resolve complex database incidents in mission-critical, high-stress environments.
•Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize query performance and database design.
•Contribute to international projects involving database migration, infrastructure evolution, and technology standardization.

Key Requirements

•PostgreSQL / EDB and/or MS SQL Server expertise
•Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems knowledge
•Scripting/procedural language proficiency (PSQL, TSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl, PowerShell, Python)
•English language level at least B2 (written and spoken)
•Cloud database services experience (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) and AWS is a plus
