Job Summary

Interact with guests in a friendly, natural manner while taking and prioritizing beverage and food orders. Prepare drinks to standard recipes and venue specifications, complete pour tests, and maintain bar logs and required checks. Handle cash and POS transactions, ensure sanitation and safety, and follow responsible alcohol service policies, including refusing service to intoxicated guests. Occasionally work special events throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities

•Interact with guests and cultivate regular repeat business.
•Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, following control systems.
•Monitor and record equipment failures and safety hazards in the bar log.
•Maintain responsible alcohol service, including checking IDs and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
•Complete opening/running/closing duties, including POS guest checks, payments, and cash/bartender bank procedures.

•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or equivalent (as required by state or county).
•Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule.
•Cash handling experience.

•Physically able to pass a pour test and a timed mixology drill.
