Key Responsibilities

  • •Build long- and short-range shift schedules to ensure coverage across aircrew and support roles.
  • •Coordinate with senior squadron leadership daily/weekly and de-conflict crewmember schedules with flight leadership.
  • •Track crewmembers leave, temporary duty, and scheduling commitments; facilitate last-minute schedule changes.
  • •Coordinate with training stakeholders (training officer/NCO, SARM, UDM, Operations Officer) to support qualifications, upgrades, tests, exercises, and continuation training.
  • •Publish/post scheduling data on a government-designated system and produce Flight Authorizations and the Flying Hour Program Report as requested.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as a USAF aircrew member, or experience working in a USAF or DoD flying/maintenance squadron in a scheduling office.
  • •Experience as a scheduler in a transportation, maritime, aircraft maintenance, or commercial airline company.
  • •Must have an active Secret Security clearance.
  • •Must have a minimum of a High School degree or GED.
  • •Background with applicable aircrew specialties/operational specialty codes (AFSC/MOS/NEC listed in the posting).
