•Counsel clients on investment topics including retirement, tax, education, income management, risk management, and suitability.
•Adhere to Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI) and act as a fiduciary in advisory relationships.
•Acquire, expand, and maintain client relationships through business development, networking, and partnerships.
•Purchase and sell securities for client needs and changing objectives; provide investment recommendations.
•Develop and maintain an annual business plan and perform investment research and portfolio allocation analysis.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline (preferred).
•Minimum of five years of experience in the investment services industry.
•FINRA registrations including Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 and 65 in lieu of Series 66).
•State of Virginia life insurance and annuities licenses.
•AWMA or CFP designations preferred.
