Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the architecture and long-term direction of the security product’s API and UI, including how it consumes telemetry as the platform grows.
  • •Define and enforce data contracts between the security product and dependent alert, classification, and ingestion services.
  • •Integrate telemetry from sources including syslog, NetFlow, SNMP, firewall telemetry, OpenTelemetry, EDR, and MDR ingest into a consistent analyst-ready model.
  • •Surface enriched entities, alerts, and topology in ways security teams actually use, partnering closely with analysts and domain experts to get the model right.
  • •Mentor engineers across the team and help set technical patterns and standards for production-grade Go engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Deep, production-proven experience with Go, designing, building, and owning services end to end from API design through deployment and operations.
  • •Full-stack ownership across backend/API and UI/frontend for a complete product surface.
  • •Production experience with high-volume, latency-sensitive infrastructure such as Kafka and OpenSearch (or close equivalents).
  • •Experience with contract-driven development across teams using schema/interface definitions like protobuf.
  • •Comfort operating autonomously and driving architectural decisions in ambiguous, cross-functional spaces, including cloud environments and how they are operated and audited in production.
