Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct field and laboratory testing for asphalt pavements, concrete, aggregates, and soils to support project outcomes.
  • •Perform construction monitoring (e.g., excavations, subgrade inspection, shallow foundations, pile monitoring, roads and pads).
  • •Carry out geotechnical instrumentation readings and field concrete/compaction testing.
  • •Complete lab work including sieve analysis, Proctors, cylinder breaking, CSA calibrations, moisture content, and asphalt testing.
  • •Prepare inspection reports, enter data, and follow WSP project review, ethics, safety, and HSE policies.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Geotechnical Engineering Technology, Materials Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
  • •Experience performing field and laboratory testing of soils, asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
  • •Knowledge of CSA, ASTM, and related industry testing standards.
  • •Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • •Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and travel to project sites as required.
