Job Summary

Design water supply distribution and wastewater collection systems end-to-end, from hydraulic calculations to construction-ready documentation. Create and manage terrain and pipe network models in Civil 3D, including alignments, profiles, long-sections, and cross-sections. Produce detailed drawings, design reports, and calculation sheets, while ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements. Work with multidisciplinary teams using Autodesk Construction Cloud for document control and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform hydraulic design for water supply distribution systems, including pipe sizing, pressure analysis, network balancing, and reservoir/storage capacity calculations.
•Design wastewater collection systems, including gravity sewers, slope/gradient determination, invert level calculations, and manhole/chamber layouts.
•Create and manage terrain surfaces and develop pipe network models in Civil 3D for pressurised water systems and gravity sewer systems, including alignment, corridor modelling, profiles, and cross-sections.
•Prepare construction-ready drawings and documentation such as general arrangement drawings, key plans, utility layout drawings, longitudinal sections, cross-sections, standard details, and detail drawings.
•Develop and document design reports, calculation sheets, and Schedule of Quantities (SOQ), maintaining registers, logs, and QA/QC through Autodesk Construction Cloud.

Key Requirements

•Master's in Water Resource or Environmental Engineering (or related field).
•4 to 8 years of relevant experience designing and delivering water supply and wastewater utility infrastructure projects.
•Demonstrated experience in hydraulic planning and detailed delivery of water distribution networks and wastewater collection systems, including related infrastructure.
•Proficiency in hydraulic design and the preparation of engineering deliverables including design calculations, Civil 3D models, drawings, and technical reports.
•Strong skills in spoken and written English and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-regional teams.
