Job Summary

Lead complex Ministry of Transportation (MTO) highway design assignments within WSP’s Transportation – Highways group. Drive multidisciplinary teams through all project phases, ensuring technical excellence, on-time delivery, and alignment with client expectations. Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality while partnering with clients, agencies, and communities. Own proposal development and cost estimates for major P3 and alternative delivery projects, and mentor engineers and coordinators.

Key Responsibilities

•Deliver highway design solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects across Ontario to improve safety and efficiency.
•Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of MTO projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.
•Oversee budgets, schedules, and quality standards to meet client expectations and project milestones.
•Collaborate with clients, agencies, and partners to align project goals with community needs.
•Drive proposal development and cost estimates for high-profile projects, including P3 and alternative delivery models, and mentor engineers and coordinators.

Key Requirements

•Licensed Professional Engineer in Canada (Ontario preferred) with a Civil Engineering degree.
•Minimum 8 years of experience managing complex transportation projects, including MTO highway design and P3 delivery models.
•Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate strategic decision-making.
•Expertise in project scheduling tools and contract documentation.
•Passion for shaping sustainable transportation solutions that make a real difference.
