Job Summary

Designs and manages structural and technical aspects of residential, commercial, and warehouse/industrial projects. Reviews structural designs, coordinates with consultants, and directs submissions and on-site material testing to ensure code-compliant, safe, and efficient construction. Leads documentation, shop drawings, and coordination with architectural and MEP teams, while supporting HSE initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze and configure basic structural components of a building or structure to ensure design quality.
•Review design criteria including geotechnical properties, wind and seismic loads, and fire protection to ensure adequacy of design.
•Analyze structural elements to ensure design quality and compliance with codes.
•Review loading plans and ensure compliance with codes and project purpose; determine pressures on components like beams or lintels.
•Coordinate with designers (architects) to ensure safe designs aligned with architectural concepts and MEP requirements.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Civil Engineering
•Minimum 8 years of working experience with 5 years in relevant roles; GCC experience is a plus
•Advanced proficiency in CAD software and other design tools; ability to draft and create technical drawings
•ERP/SAP knowledge or functional SAP skills are required
•Experience coordinating with architects and MEP teams; knowledge of codes and safety standards
