Key Responsibilities

  • •Learn all aspects of the Customer Delivery Specialist role, including safe and efficient operation of delivery vehicles.
  • •Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections on the truck according to DOT requirements and report problems to the Fleet department.
  • •Safely drive and maneuver trucks (under or over 26,000 pounds) and follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • •Service scheduled customers by end of shift, delivering product to stores and executing promotions.
  • •Unload, merchandise, rotate, and remove/return products in accounts to PBV and customer standards, ensuring required signatures/stamps for invoice settlement.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Valid Driver’s License.
  • •Pass a DOT physical prior to first day of employment.
  • •Obtain a CDL permit by the 15th business day and obtain the CDL license within 45 business days if not currently held.
  • •Must be able to speak and read English and perform heavy physical labor for extended periods.
