•Exercise judgment to determine liability by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and following applicable procedures.
•Determine policy verification and coverage by analyzing applicable coverage for claims and confirming whether losses fall within coverage.
•Participate in Risk Management Agency initiated reviews and referrals to support operations integrity and quality assurance.
•Protect Zurich’s reputation by keeping claims information confidential.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge through education, staying current with industry trends, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months of experience in the agricultural area.
•Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained within 180 days of hire.
•Must live within 100 miles of the assigned locations in New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Long Island, or Massachusetts.
•Reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel within the territory.
•Meet crop adjuster physical requirements, including walking agricultural fields, climbing storage bins, lifting 25–50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying weather.
