Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and timely while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer for loading/unloading and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when warranted.
  • •Maintain delivery documentation (invoices, shipping bills of lading) and facilitate routine service tasks; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state and vehicle weight.
  • •Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal/state DOT regulations, including a DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs.
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Ability to remain focused in a busy environment and communicate professionally with customers and staff.
  • •Physical ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds and perform prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab; may include frequent travel.
