Key Responsibilities

  • •As a CMM programmer, develop digital CMM inspection processes for detailed machined components, fabrications, sheet metal parts and small sub-assemblies.
  • •Translate engineering design data (CAD models, drawings, material and manufacturing process specifications) into digital CMM inspection processes.
  • •Support design for manufacture, dimensional management and process planning for inspection solutions.
  • •Collaborate with manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products to demanding timescales.
  • •Support new product introduction and in-service requirements across a diverse portfolio of programmes.

Salary: GBP 51,772

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of HNC/HND or recognised apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • •Good knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • •Experience in machining process and inspection.
  • •Experience of CATIA V4/V5, LK CAMIO, and Siemens Dimensional Planning Verification (DPV).
  • •Experience of GD&T and dimensional management using ISO and ASME standards.
