Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform FEED, studies, and detailed HVAC/mechanical design engineering, analysis, and calculations for complex tasks.
  • •Prepare clear detailed design calculations/analyses, design reports, and procedures; prioritize work to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • •Apply relevant procedures, practices, and international standards for mechanical disciplines and ensure McDermott quality standards are implemented.
  • •Develop mechanical data sheets and equipment specifications; manage equipment requisitions and evaluate technical quotations and bid tabulations.
  • •Review seller/manufacturer drawings and inspection & test procedures, assist inspections/testing, and provide technical inputs for subcontracts and project closeout.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • •3-8 years of oil and gas experience with major contractors or consultants performing detail design.
  • •Preferably Registered Engineer in Training (ElT) or a member of a professional engineering society.
  • •Good English in writing and speaking (B2 level), with quality- and schedule-conscious communication.
  • •Leadership skills to coordinate some discipline tasks and willingness to support construction from office or site as needed.
