Job Summary

Analyze complex, unstructured big-data sets using statistical techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and business insights. Design and automate data pipelines to cleanse, integrate, and evaluate data from multiple sources, then build predictive and prescriptive models to drive measurable outcomes. Collaborate with data engineering teams across business lines, communicate findings via visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences, and lead data science projects through guidance and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee data mining using modern tools and programming languages.
•Develop predictive and prescriptive models to surface insights and drive actionable outcomes.
•Implement models to uncover patterns and predictions that create business value and innovation.
•Partner with data engineering teams to build and improve data pipelines, data assets, data quality, metrics, and insights.
•Create visualizations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and provide guidance to less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

•Four-year or graduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
•Typically 4–7 years of work experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, or a related field (or advanced degree with 3–5 years).
•Experience with data mining using modern tools and programming languages.
•Ability to develop predictive and prescriptive models and track their performance against success measures.
•Knowledge of programming language certification (SQL, Python, or similar).
