Job Summary

Lead System Debug Engineer in AMD’s post-silicon validation group for EPYC Server and Instinct products. Drive system/silicon debugging, define debug strategy, and coordinate cross-functional teams globally to meet milestones with high quality. Own root-cause analysis, debugging throughput improvements, and stakeholder communications across OS, FW, BIOS, and hardware domains.

Key Responsibilities

•Debug issues found during Silicon bring-up, Systems Validation, and production phases of SOC programs.
•Lead complex debug efforts for internal Silicon findings to identify root cause and resolution.
•Ensure issues are solved on time with quality.
•Manage and track technical issues, risks and priorities to un-gate program milestones.
•Publish debug program indicators to identify major roadblocks and drive changes to improve debug throughput.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering preferred
•Extensive experience in validation roles debugging OS, FW, silicon, and HW issues
•Strong knowledge of industry-standard buses and software stacks (PCIe, CXL)
•Good understanding of x86 architecture, SoC design, memory, RAS & power management
•Excellent communication and coordination skills and ability to drive tasks to completion
