Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for women across various life stages.
  • •Provide ongoing medication management, including initiation, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications.
  • •Offer psychotherapy and counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • •Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • •Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
  • •Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • •Facilitate referrals to other mental health services and resources as necessary.
  • •Participate in regular case consultations and supervision meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Nurse Practitioner license with a specialty in Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC), in good standing.
  • •Licensed to practice in FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, VA, DC, MD (one or more states).
  • •Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and therapy, focusing on women’s mental health.
  • •Proficiency in medication management with an emphasis on psychopharmacology for women.
  • •Experience providing psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, IPT, or other evidence-based modalities).
