Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop and maintain our customized Linux OS ecosystem across multiple hardware boards, including build toolchain, kernel, root filesystem, bootloader, and BSP
  • •Contribute to embedded Linux software development, testing, delivery, and ongoing support
  • •Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex hardware-software issues
  • •Prepare software builds for simulation, reference platforms, and target hardware
  • •Provide technical leadership to project design teams by planning work and reporting status

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or advanced degree with 5-8+ years of relevant embedded Linux experience
  • •Proficiency with scripting languages (Bash and Python) and embedded C/C++
  • •Experience with embedded Linux device drivers and board bring-up
  • •Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills using hardware schematics, logic analyzers, and Wireshark
  • •Experience with Git and SVN version control; Buildroot or similar Linux distribution packaging is preferred
