Job Summary

Lead institutional fundraising for Teach For America’s New York region by managing a corporate and foundation donor portfolio. Set and execute a 3–5 year development strategy to raise $2.8M+ annually, steward and solicit donors, and build corporate partnerships. Own development operations through pipeline/portfolio reviews and maintain donor records in Salesforce. Key Responsibilities

•Manage, cultivate, steward, and solicit (when appropriate) a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors.
•Set vision, strategy, and plans to cultivate the donor portfolio and maximize revenue for the organization.
•Identify, pursue, and secure new funding to grow and diversify corporate and foundation fundraising streams.
•Lead development operations including portfolio reviews and progress checks; maintain donor/prospect activity in Salesforce.
•Partner with leadership to translate regional priorities into a focused case for support and participate in regional engagements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 106,100 - 139,300 annually

Key Requirements

•At least 7+ years of related experience in a development and fundraising context.
•Track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious goals as a donor portfolio manager.
•Highly skilled relationship builder with experience across a donor portfolio.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce grant proposals and reports.
•Experience stewarding a diverse portfolio across funding streams, including grant writing and reporting.
