Animal Handling Specialist

Ensure the highest standards of animal welfare at the plant level by leading livestock handler training, overseeing daily animal care, and managing animal welfare audits and tour groups. Monitor livestock transportation and handling practices, conduct daily plant and transportation audits, and review results with management. Serve as the link to regulatory agencies by drafting responses to noncompliance reports and supporting Transport Quality Assurance (TQA) training, while maintaining accurate records.
